Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and LazyTrade ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the LazyTrade trading journal application and website at thelazytrade.com (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate and current

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Maintain and update your information as necessary
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear to be inactive or fraudulent.

Free Tier

• Limited to 20 trades per calendar month
• Trade history limited to 30 days
• Basic analytics and features
• Screenshot uploads limited to 5MB

Pro Subscription

• Unlimited trades per month
• Full trade history (no time limit)
• Advanced analytics and insights
• CSV import/export functionality
• Screenshot uploads up to 25MB
• Priority customer support

Pricing and Payment

• Monthly Plan: $12/month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: $99/year, billed annually (save 31%)

Billing Terms

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You will be charged at the start of each billing period
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• Taxes may apply based on your location
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

• You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
• Your account will revert to the Free tier after the period ends
• No further charges will be made
• You will not receive a refund for the remaining days

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers:

• Request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase
• Contact support@thelazytrade.com with your refund request
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
• Subsequent renewals are non-refundable
• We reserve the right to deny refunds for abuse

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or download data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use the Service for any illegal trading activities
• Share your account with multiple users
• Reverse engineer or copy our software

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content (excluding your user data) are owned by LazyTrade and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:

• Software code and architecture
• Design, layout, and user interface
• LazyTrade name, logo, and branding
• Documentation and help content

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal trading journal purposes only.

Your Content and Data

You retain all rights to the trading data and content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us:

• A license to store, process, and display Your Content to provide the Service
• Permission to create backups and ensure data redundancy
• The right to use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and improvements

You represent that you have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or laws.

Data Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through your account settings. Data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Disclaimer of Investment Advice

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements
• That all bugs or errors will be corrected immediately

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with notice
• Perform scheduled maintenance (we'll notify you)
• Suspend service for emergency maintenance
• Change pricing with 30 days notice

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING LOSSES OR MISSED OPPORTUNITIES
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS (though we make regular backups)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LazyTrade, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your Content or trading activities

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Your payment method fails repeatedly
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us at support@thelazytrade.com first. We'll work in good faith to resolve the issue.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.

Changes to Terms

• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction
• No Agency: No agency, partnership, or joint venture is created by these Terms
